The short version
No card numbers stored — You enter card details on our payment provider's secure form. We never see or store your full card number, expiry or CVV.
No third-party trackers or ads — The store loads no advertising or social-media tracking scripts. We count page views ourselves, without cookies and without keeping your IP address. Its only cookie keeps you signed in.
Only what we need — We keep the details needed to sell and support your files: your account, your orders and the messages you send us.
You're in control — Update your details in your account at any time, or ask us for a copy of your data or to delete it.
Who we are
svgastore is operated by svgastore, Surat, Gujarat, India. We are responsible for personal data processed through this store. You can reach us about privacy at hello.appverselabs@gmail.com.
This policy explains what information the store uses, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website; apps built by our customers using our animations have their own privacy policies.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell and support your files:
Account details — name, email address and password (stored hashed), plus optional phone, company and country.
Billing details — billing name, country, state and city, and company name and GSTIN or tax ID if you give them. We need your country to work out GST.
Order records — what you bought, prices, tax, discount codes used and the payment reference from our payment provider.
Wishlist — the animations and packs you save while signed in, so they are there on every device.
Messages — what you send us by email, WhatsApp or the contact form, including any files or order IDs you include.
Page views — which page was opened, when, the country, region and city your connection resolves to, and the kind of device and browser. Your IP address is used to look those up and is not stored with the view.
Files you send us from the viewer — if you press “Send this file” in the SVGA & PAG viewer, we keep the file you chose, the country and city above, and anything you typed with it, so we can look at it and decide whether to carry it. Playing a file in the viewer sends us nothing. Write to us and we will delete it.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time), kept for security and troubleshooting.
We don't collect sensitive personal data, and we don't buy data about you from anyone else.
How we use it
To process your order, deliver your files and keep them available for re-download.
To issue receipts and invoices and meet our tax and accounting obligations in India.
To answer your questions, handle refund requests and provide support.
To prevent fraud, abuse of discount codes and unauthorised redistribution of files.
To send order and account emails. We'll only send marketing emails if you opt in, and every one will have an unsubscribe link.
To understand, in aggregate, which pages and files are useful, so we can improve the store.
Why we're allowed to use it
We process personal data only when we have a valid reason:
To perform our contract with you — taking payment, delivering files, managing your account.
To meet legal obligations — for example keeping tax records and invoices.
Your consent — for optional things like marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate uses — keeping the store secure and preventing fraud, in ways you'd reasonably expect.
We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where they apply to you, other data-protection laws such as the GDPR.
Payments
Payments are handled by established payment providers — Razorpay for UPI and cards, and PayPal. You enter card details on the provider's secure form; we receive a confirmation, a payment reference and, for cards, the brand and last four digits. We never see or store your full card number or CVV. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in and protect checkout, and we load no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Your browser's localStorage remembers your cart, your theme choice and, while you're signed out, your wishlist, and your browser may cache images and animation files to load pages faster. Our payment providers' checkout forms may set their own cookies when you pay.
If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:
payment providers, to take and refund payments;
hosting, email and support-tool providers that run the store for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
professional advisers such as accountants, where needed;
authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
If svgastore is ever reorganised or sold, customer data may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
International transfers
We are based in India and our service providers may process data in other countries. When data leaves the country you're in, we use providers that protect it to the standard required by applicable law.
How long we keep it
Account data: while your account is open, then deleted within 90 days of closing it, unless we must keep it longer.
Orders, invoices and payment references: for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
Support messages: up to 2 years after the conversation ends, so we can help with follow-ups.
Server logs: up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate a security issue.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
delete your data, where we don't need to keep it for legal reasons;
stop or limit certain uses, or withdraw consent you've given;
nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
Email hello.appverselabs@gmail.com from the address on your account. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the data-protection authority where you live.
Security
The store is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, access to customer data is limited to people who need it, and payment data stays with our payment providers. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
svgastore is a store for app developers and businesses. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the store changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll highlight significant changes on the site before they take effect.
